The Cleveland Browns have released the following statement regarding the arrest of defensive end Tyrell Adams: Cleveland Browns DE Tyrell Adam, 24, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of driving under the influence and possession of drugs.
He was booked into the Jackson County Jail at 9:55 a.m.
ET on the two counts of driving with a suspended license and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
He will appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m..
Adams was released on a $50,000 bond.
The team has suspended Adams indefinitely, the team said.
Adams will be removed from the team’s active roster, the NFL said.
