White Sox will send $1.8 million to White Sox ticket seller in Vail lift ticket sale

WASHINGTON (AP) A White Sox team spokesman said Thursday that it would donate $1 million to a ticket seller who was arrested in March on charges of selling counterfeit White Sox tickets.

The team spokesman, Mark Sadowski, says the money will be used to reimburse ticket buyers for lost revenue.

Sadowski says the ticket seller was arrested March 11 in Vamp River, Idaho, after he bought tickets for a game that was canceled.

The ticket was found on the floor of a Vail resort hotel room.
